Social Content Creator & Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a Social Content Creator & Strategist to shape and amplify our brand’s voice across short‑form video platforms. Working remotely as a part‑time contractor, you will translate raw material such as podcast clips, Zoom recordings, and essays into engaging, platform‑native content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic short‑form video concepts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Provide editorial direction—including hooks, pacing, captions, and tone—to ensure edits feel native to each platform.
• Stay current with platform trends, audio trends, editing styles, and viral formats, proposing new ideas and transitions.
• Repurpose long‑form assets (Substack posts, podcasts, live sessions) into short clips, carousels, or quote graphics.
• Write core copy and hooks; collaborate with the Marketing Assistant on captions and distribution.
• Analyze competitor content and thought‑leader activity to identify whitespace and differentiation opportunities.
• Lead editorial tone across formats, ensuring consistency with brand pillars and audience expectations.

Required profile

• Deep familiarity with U.S. social culture, news cycles, and creator‑driven trends.
• Strong editorial sense and ability to translate a thought‑leader’s voice into concise, compelling content.
• Experience shaping content strategy across multiple short‑form platforms.
