Video Producer – Full-Time

About the role

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is seeking a creative and passionate Video Producer to craft compelling visual stories across broadcast, digital and social platforms. You will help deepen the connection between the club and its fans by producing a wide range of video content, from social‑first clips to commercial campaigns and match highlights.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and edit video for community, academy, sales and communications initiatives on digital and social channels.
• Assist with shoots, press conferences, interviews, events, training sessions and match coverage, including travel to select away games.
• Identify story ideas, contribute creative concepts during planning and produce social‑first content aligned with current digital trends.
• Develop commercial video assets that support ticket sales, sponsorship activations and merchandise promotion.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication to ensure on‑schedule delivery.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of video production experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
• Education in Video Production, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Broadcasting or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
• Passion for video production, storytelling and sports, with ability to work flexible hours, weekends and matchdays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience operating multiple cameras, including Sony cinema cameras.
• Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other digital platforms.
