Snowmobile Apparel & Equipment Designer

About the role

Kimpex is looking for a creative designer to develop snowmobile apparel and equipment for the CKX brand. You will shape product concepts from idea through prototype, ensuring they meet performance, durability and visual standards while reflecting the brand’s DNA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design products that align with brand DNA, market trends and user needs.
• Create technical drawings, sketches, visual specifications and tech packs.
• Select materials, fabrics and components based on performance, durability and comfort criteria.
• Participate in product trials, performance testing and prototype validation.
• Conduct user studies, field observations and retailer visits to gather market insights.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Sales to ensure collection consistency and commercial success.
• Represent the CKX brand at powersports events and within enthusiast communities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, textile innovations and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design and development processes.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design or a related field.
• Experience designing technical apparel, soft goods or textile products.
• Strong understanding of technical materials, manufacturing methods and production constraints.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Fluency in written and spoken English for communication with international partners.
• Passion for snowmobiles and motorsports.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
