Skilled Labourer – Hospitality Construction (Jasper, AB)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports a major hospitality construction project in Jasper, AB. The Skilled Labourer will perform physical tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and assisting tradespeople with interior renovations. Flexibility is required, with options for a 10‑days‑on/4‑days‑off rotation or continuous on‑site work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by cleaning, removing obstacles and ensuring safety.
• Load and unload materials, moving them efficiently to required locations.
• Assist trades and site supervisors with framing, drywall, painting and other interior renovation tasks.
• Erect scaffolding, shoring and braces as needed.
• Waterproof surfaces and finish freshly poured concrete.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and secure tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a skilled handyman in restaurant, retail or commercial construction.
• Hands‑on experience with framing, drywall, flooring, tile work, carpentry and finishing.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to identify hazards.
• Willingness to use hand and power tools, including hammers and drills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship.
