Site Supervisor – Remote

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day activities on crane‑rail installation and maintenance projects for Gantrex. Working remotely, you will coordinate on‑site crews, subcontractors and ensure that work is delivered safely, on schedule and to technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate site work for crane‑rail projects.
• Supervise and support on‑site crews, manage subcontractors and monitor daily progress.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Communicate status, issues and solutions to project managers and clients.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, drawings and installation records.
• Travel regularly to customer sites and collaborate with engineering, logistics and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Proven site supervision experience in construction or heavy‑industry environments.
• Technical understanding of industrial construction, steel structures or crane‑rail systems (a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans and installation guidelines.
• Experience with HSE standards, risk assessments, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
• Strong communication skills for multicultural teams and customers.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to industrial sites.
• Relevant technical diploma (construction, mechanical, civil or industrial engineering) or equivalent experience.
