Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Site Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day construction activities for residential and custom‑home projects in Oakville. The role combines on‑site coordination, quality and safety oversight, and client interaction to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily on‑site construction activities across one or more active projects, ensuring compliance with scope, quality standards and safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with trade superintendents, create recovery plans and monitor progress.
• Supervise project coordinators and administrative staff, conduct performance evaluations and mentor junior team members.
• Negotiate and issue purchase orders and change orders, approve subcontractor invoices, and coordinate regular financial reviews with owners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, consultants and local authorities, addressing disputes professionally.
• Oversee site inventory, equipment, materials, and ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Lead project meetings, represent the company on‑site and with clients, and manage documentation through BuilderTrend.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience in residential or commercial projects.
• Strong leadership with a solution‑oriented, hands‑on approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with trades, consultants and clients.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and contract documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BuilderTrend construction management software.
• Advanced Excel skills for scheduling and reporting.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
