Construction Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Inspector to ensure that building and engineering projects are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, codes and safety standards. The role involves on‑site inspections of structures, steel and concrete installations, as well as sewer and pipeline systems.

Key responsibilities

• Examine plans, drawings and site layouts to verify compliance.
• Inspect construction of buildings, civil engineering works, steel and concrete installations.
• Enforce relevant building codes and installation standards.
• Inspect sewer systems and pipelines for proper installation and safety.
• Maintain safe working conditions and report any hazards.
• Travel regularly to various project sites and remote locations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work physically demanding tasks.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good judgment, organization, flexibility and strong ethical values.
