About the role
The company is seeking a reliable Building Maintenance Worker to keep its facilities operating smoothly. The role involves performing routine repairs, safety checks, and supporting tenants and staff across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Contact tradespersons and contractors for major repairs and maintenance.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and conduct safety and security checks.
- Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants and supervise other workers.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; carry out routine maintenance such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work with minimal supervision and advertise vacancies as needed.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
