Site Supervisor

About the role

Greenspace Construction Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead daily operations on a heavy civil construction project in southern Ontario. Reporting to the Superintendent, the supervisor will ensure safety, schedule adherence, subcontractor coordination and quality control throughout the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site safety, maintenance and compliance with COR and OHSA standards.
• Manage site mobilization, layout planning and the setup of trailers, restrooms and generators.
• Lead daily coordination meetings with subcontractors and conduct daily safety talks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date construction drawings, specifications and a site binder with all agreements.
• Review Letters of Intent and Purchase Orders with the Project Manager to confirm scopes of work.
• Participate in pre‑construction planning, project startup meetings and development of the work plan.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field supervision and site logistics on construction projects.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach with a commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to enforce regulatory compliance and support project momentum.
