Site Superintendent – Residential Construction

About the role

Akash Homes is expanding its presence in Calgary and seeks an experienced Site Superintendent to lead residential construction projects from excavation through possession. You will ensure homes are built safely, on schedule, and to the high‑quality standards the company is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full construction process for multiple residential builds, from site preparation to final hand‑over.
• Coordinate trades, suppliers, and inspections to keep projects on track.
• Ensure all worksites comply with the Alberta Building Code and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs, address deficiencies, and manage post‑possession repairs.
• Collaborate with Drafting, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Experience teams for seamless project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising residential construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code and homebuilding practices.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with trades, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on quick issue resolution.
