Site Superintendent – High Rise Residential

About the role

The Site Superintendent will lead the field team on a high‑rise residential project, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality while coordinating with owners, consultants, and trade contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, train and manage the on‑site crew across multiple phases of construction.
• Implement and monitor construction schedules, cost‑control measures, and material coordination.
• Coordinate temporary power, equipment rentals, and major equipment usage such as cranes and hoists.
• Liaise with owners, unions, and labour relations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Oversee trade contractor performance, pre‑qualification, and contract compliance.
• Lead site safety programs, including HSE initiatives and joint safety committees.
• Assist purchasing in selecting appropriate equipment and managing procurement.
• Conduct site trade meetings and ensure milestones are met.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities on large‑scale residential projects.
• Strong understanding of construction budgeting, scheduling, and safety standards.
• Ability to collaborate with owners, consultants, and multiple trade teams.
• Experience in managing site logistics, equipment, and material flow.
