Siding Installer

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Siding Installer to join our construction team in Calgary. The role involves installing and servicing exterior prefabricated siding products on various sites, working outdoors and at heights.

Key responsibilities

• Install exterior prefabricated siding products according to layout and procedures.
• Repair and service existing siding installations.
• Measure, mark and layout guidelines for installations.
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks safely.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work with ability to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Attention to detail and punctuality.
• Ability to work outdoors at heights.
• Criminal record check required.
• Own steel‑toed safety boots.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Scaffolding erection and safe use.
• Blueprint and drawing interpretation.
