About the role
We are looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to manage daily activities on our building projects in Calgary. The role involves coordinating workers, scheduling tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities.
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff as needed.
- Set up machines and equipment, and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Estimate costs and material requirements.
- Read blueprints and drawings to guide work.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and recommend personnel actions.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Flexible hours availability.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Cost estimation.
- Machine and equipment setup.
