Shipper-Receiver – Laboratory Logistics

About the role

This role is critical to maintaining efficient laboratory operations and customer satisfaction. The Shipper‑Receiver manages shipping and receiving, bottle order preparation, inventory management, disposal and driving duties for all laboratory operations in support of the Sample Logistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Process and fulfill bottle orders from LIMS, including preparation of blanks.
• Coordinate shipping of orders and arrange courier services for delivery.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory for bottle orders and laboratory supplies.
• Receive, unpack, organize and distribute supplies to end users promptly.
• Enter packing slips into the FLEX system and manage scanned documents.
• Retrieve and label Certificates of Analysis, scanning them for electronic storage.
• Conduct quarterly inventory counts and manage laboratory consumables procurement.
• Perform sample disposal and delivery driving/pick‑ups as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift up to 40 lb.
• Availability for shift work, overtime and weekend work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience in warehouse or inventory management considered an asset.
