Service Porter

About the role

Northland Nissan is seeking a reliable Service Porter to support the Service Department by moving vehicles, transporting customers, and maintaining the lot and showroom. This full‑time, on‑site position is essential to keeping daily operations smooth and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Organize, park, and move vehicles for sale and service.
• Remove protective coverings and ID tags before vehicle delivery.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damage and report issues.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including power‑washing and seasonal tasks such as snow removal.
• Assist with service write‑ups, tagging, and shop clean‑up.
• Deliver dealer trades to neighboring stores and place advertising signage on vehicles.
• Maintain lot tidiness, including garbage removal and merchandising alerts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Interest in the automotive industry.
• Dependable, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
• Strong customer‑service attitude.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience using cleaning products and power washers.
