Warehouse Person / Shipper Receiver

About the role

Geotech Drilling is seeking a Warehouse Person / Shipper Receiver to support field operations by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The role is essential for ensuring drilling materials are delivered on time and in good condition.

Key responsibilities

• Assist warehouse, shipping/receiving, operations, and yard staff as needed.
• Complete requisitions promptly and ensure all documentation is accurate and shared.
• Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks.
• Manage internal and external rentals, including tracking, reporting damages, returns, and availability.
• Inspect incoming load requisitions and maintain a tracking mechanism for rentals.
• Create requisitions for rental or internal kits that need restocking.
• Conduct sign‑in/out of rental and internal kits.
• Perform other duties related to warehouse and logistics as required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environment.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Valid Class 5/7 (N) or higher driver’s licence.
• Experience in drilling, mining, or construction is a strong asset.
