Service HVAC Technician – Commercial & Residential

About the role

Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Service HVAC Technician with both commercial and residential expertise to join its Service Division. You will work on high‑end custom homes and commercial properties, providing autonomous service, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a wide variety of HVAC equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Perform routine maintenance and system tune‑ups to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers.
• Assist teammates on service calls and collaborate with dispatchers to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Journeyperson certification.
• 8‑10 years of residential HVAC service experience; commercial experience is a plus.
• Tech‑savvy with experience using iPads, texting apps, and Service Titan (asset).
• Strong troubleshooting ability and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean record.
