Server – Senior Living Hospitality

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Lakeside Manor, a senior independent living community, to deliver warm and attentive dining experiences for residents and guests. As a Server, you will work in dining rooms and designated service areas, ensuring every meal is served with care and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dining rooms and service areas for each meal service.
• Take meal and beverage orders, fulfill resident requests, and follow Serving it Right guidelines.
• Serve food safely, adhering to sanitation, Food Safe, and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident questions, concerns, and feedback.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and glassware; assist with light food preparation and plating.
• Communicate maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate teams.
• Follow WHMIS, infection‑prevention, and MSDS procedures while cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and support risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in dining, hospitality, or full‑service senior living (preferred).
• WHMIS Certification and First Aid Certificate are assets.
• Serving it Right and Food Safe certifications are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with multitasking capability.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good judgment and problem‑solving skills.
