Server – Food & Beverage Services

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and reliable server to join our food and beverage team at Ducks Aren't Real Restaurant in Sackville. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service to guests, handling orders, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patrons, present menus, and make recommendations on food and drinks.
• Take customer orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including mixing and serving alcoholic drinks to legal‑age guests.
• Describe daily specials and advise guests on menu selections.
• Present bills and process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or other accepted methods.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold restaurant standards.

Required profile

• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant or coffee‑shop setting.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Organized, reliable, and able to stand for extended periods.
