SEO & Digital Strategist

About the role

Podium IQ is looking for an SEO & Digital Strategist to bridge the gap between AI‑driven insights and actionable content. You will translate visibility gaps and battlecard data into concrete content briefs that drive performance in both traditional search and AI answers.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Podium runs using keyword research and business intelligence.
• Interpret battlecards, GVI scores, and funnel‑stage query data to create clear sprint‑level content plans.
• Write detailed copywriting briefs covering target queries, search intent, structure, schema, internal linking, sources, and citation signals.
• Embed SEO best practices alongside the GEO methodology and ensure briefs are ready for writers.
• Brief writers and creative teams, then review deliverables against strategy before approval.
• Collaborate within the Share of Model pod on six‑to‑eight‑week sprints, partnering with cross‑functional teams to keep strategy and execution aligned.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in SEO and digital content strategy, preferably with B2B and B2C projects.
• Proven ability to own and create content briefs rather than only receive them.
• Strong curiosity about how AI models retrieve and cite sources.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

Required skills

• Keyword research and business intelligence.
• Semrush or Ahrefs.
• Google Search Console.
• On‑page and technical SEO fundamentals.
• Schema and structured data implementation.
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for content performance tracking.
