Senior Systems Administrator – Windows Infrastructure

About the role

Moneris is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the Windows Infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will own the core Windows Server platform, high-availability solutions and automation initiatives, ensuring reliable and secure production services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure in both on-prem and cloud settings.
• Lead Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and enterprise platform operations for production workloads.
• Drive patching, lifecycle management, in-place upgrades and platform modernization.
• Support Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server high-availability environments.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents through root-cause analysis.
• Develop PowerShell automation and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation and service support processes.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with engineering, application and security groups.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in systems infrastructure administration, design and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent technical certifications.
• Deep expertise in enterprise Windows Server production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server high-availability platforms.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting abilities.
