Senior System Administrator

About the role

Kandor Management is seeking a Senior System Administrator to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of its enterprise‑scale IT infrastructure. This hands‑on leadership position will ensure resilient, secure and cost‑effective services across Azure, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments while supporting multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Azure and SharePoint platforms, including Entra, Azure VMs, site permissions and user access.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Office applications, Teams and Power Automate.
• Design, build and continuously improve backup and disaster‑recovery solutions with rigorous testing.
• Implement security best practices, oversee EDR/EPP, SIEM, MDM and intrusion‑detection controls.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to maintain a reliable infrastructure.
• Engage with senior leaders to align IT strategy with business goals and control costs.
• Lead projects including system upgrades, asset integration for acquisitions, new office onboarding and application deployments.
• Support ISO 27001 certification efforts and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses and documentation, and provide end‑user training.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and managing enterprise‑scale IT environments, especially Azure, SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Hands‑on expertise with Windows Server, Windows 10/11, macOS and SQL Server.
• Strong background in cybersecurity compliance, EDR/EPP, SIEM, MDM and intrusion‑detection across cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or similar security frameworks is an asset.
