Senior Staff Accountant, Tax

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant, Tax to join our team—a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. You will work closely with Tax Partners and senior staff to develop tax planning assignments and prepare returns for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients in collaboration with Tax Partners and senior staff.
• Perform technical research and document tax plan recommendations.
• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns.
• Collaborate with peers and senior management to meet filing deadlines.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to build productive client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client service.

Required profile

• Successful completion of the Common Final Evaluation (CFE), writing the CFE Fall 2026.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a professional services firm.
• Tax experience considered an asset.
• Experience leading junior staff on client deliverables.
• Self‑motivation with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management and organizational skills.
