Senior Specialist Partner Relations, CCS

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Common Collection Systems, the Senior Specialist Partner Relations supports the operation and continuous improvement of Ontario’s Common Collection System, focusing on Toronto and Peel Region. The role ensures contractual, operational and regulatory compliance across partners and drives service optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with CCS Operator, City of Toronto, Peel Region and service providers to ensure agreement terms and regulatory obligations are met.
• Identify and implement improvements for material recovery, cost containment and service delivery, including pilot projects and best‑practice development.
• Develop expertise in Ontario Regulation 391/21 and Master Services Agreements, and prepare accurate, data‑driven reports.
• Support project management tasks and coordinate with CM Post Collection, Material Quality and Innovation teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience; continuing education in project or data management is an asset.
• 4+ years in a regulated recycling collection environment, with knowledge of procurement and contract management.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, municipal representatives and service providers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, Excel and Jira.
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities, attention to detail and analytical reporting.
