Senior Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join Siemens Healthineers in Winnipeg. You will help design, implement and support cloud‑based oncology medical‑device software that directly impacts patient care. The role combines advanced coding with a strong understanding of cloud technologies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain .NET applications for oncology devices.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, product managers, UX designers and other stakeholders.
• Write unit and integration tests and ensure compliance with medical‑device quality standards.
• Provide effort estimates and technical documentation for software modules.
• Participate in code reviews and present technical findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and quick learning of new technologies.
• Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
