Senior Site Supervisor – Architecture & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Supervisor to lead on‑site architectural supervision for the new Vertières metro station on Montreal’s Blue Line. The role combines technical rigor, field judgment and coordination across multidisciplinary teams to ensure the project meets design quality, compliance and sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily presence on the construction site to verify that work complies with plans, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Supervise architectural aspects of tunnels, station entrances, emergency exits and related infrastructure.
• Identify non‑conformities, track deficiencies, conduct pre‑acceptance inspections and follow through to resolution.
• Produce site visit reports, meeting minutes and technical follow‑ups; review shop drawings, technical sheets, RFIs and change notices.
• Ensure adherence to STM design standards (NCC) and support Envision certification goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex on‑site issues in large‑scale public transit or infrastructure projects.
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and ability to act quickly in demanding environments.
• Excellent coordination skills with architects, engineers, contractors and client representatives.

Required skills

• Architectural supervision and construction documentation review.
• Knowledge of public transit design standards and certification processes.
