Senior Site Superintendent – High‑Rise Condominium

About the role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Site Superintendent to lead the construction of a high‑rise condominium in Scarborough. The role oversees the entire building process from excavation through occupancy, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day site operations for a large residential tower.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site staff, suppliers, consultants, and inspectors.
• Manage construction phases including excavation, structural work, envelope, interior finishes, and hand‑over.
• Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and work with the Project Manager to mitigate risks.
• Enforce OHSA safety requirements and company policies on‑site.
• Oversee logistics such as deliveries, hoisting, crane operations, and material flow.
• Conduct regular site meetings and resolve deficiencies promptly.
• Mentor Assistant and Finishing Superintendents and foster strong relationships with trades, consultants, and city officials.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction experience, primarily on high‑rise residential projects.
• Proven track record as a Senior Superintendent or equivalent on large‑scale towers.
• Deep knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and construction sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex site logistics in the GTA.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
