Senior SAP Integration Lead – Government of Manitoba

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the architecture, design, implementation, testing and optimisation of integration solutions that connect SAP S/4HANA with internal and external enterprise systems for the Government of Manitoba. This senior role requires deep expertise in SAP integration technologies and the SAP Business Technology Platform Integration Suite.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership for all SAP integration activities across the Government of Manitoba and associated organisations.
• Lead technical architecture, design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain integration architecture blueprints, roadmaps and enterprise integration strategies.
• Gather integration requirements from business and IT stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop and configure integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite and related middleware.
• Configure and support integration adapters such as File, SFTP, REST, SOAP, IDOC, OCR, RFC and HTTP.
• Lead integration testing across functional streams, resolve issues and ensure validation.
• Monitor and optimise solution performance for scalability, reliability and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with minimal business impact.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and integration teams.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, governance processes and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with system integrators and Manitoba leadership to ensure quality delivery.
• Facilitate technical discussions and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading SAP integration initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise with SAP S/4HANA integration architecture and implementation.
• Delivered at least three end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects (on‑premise and cloud).
• Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform Integration Suite.
• Deep understanding of SAP integration technologies such as RFC, BAPI, IDOC, ABAP Proxy, REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
