Senior Research Software Developer – Advanced Imaging

About the role

Circle Cardiovascular Imaging is seeking a Senior Research Software Developer to lead the design and implementation of advanced image processing algorithms for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. The role combines technical expertise with clinical and regulatory insight to deliver high‑quality medical imaging software.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop advanced image processing algorithms for medical image analysis.
• Design and implement frameworks and automated workflows that integrate algorithms across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and scientific advisors to build enterprise‑grade imaging solutions.
• Work with regulatory and quality assurance teams to define and execute validation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor peers in areas such as segmentation, registration, or reconstruction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in image processing design and development.
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ (or other object‑oriented languages) and Python.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced development environments and deliver safe health technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
