Senior Property Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of multiple residential properties, including at least one portfolio of more than 500 units. The role involves leading on‑site teams, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets for assigned properties by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate payments with accounting and property owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to inform short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large multifamily portfolios (500+ units) or multiple properties.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian housing regulations, including the Canadian Human Rights Act and provincial fair‑housing laws.
• Demonstrated ability to lead property‑management teams and drive financial performance.
• Excellent analytical skills for budgeting, financial reporting, and market analysis.
