Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple institutional, commercial and industrial construction projects across Hamilton, the GTA, the Golden Horseshoe and Kitchener/Waterloo. You will oversee projects with budgets of $20 million or more, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Superintendents to manage construction from pre‑construction through completion, including coordination, budgeting, scheduling and quality control.
• Maintain positive cash flow, prepare accurate billings for owners and ensure timely subcontractor payments.
• Monitor and forecast project costs, reporting to management and aligning with estimates.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, resolve engineering, schedule and staffing issues, and support team development.
• Write scopes and tender documents in collaboration with estimators.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, specifications and drawings.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in architectural technology, engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the ICI (institutional, commercial, industrial) sector.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, especially CCDC documents.
• Ability to travel to job sites and work from both field and head office.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procore construction management software.
