Senior Project Manager – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

The Senior Project Manager leads a portfolio of heavy‑civil construction projects, ensuring they align with Clearway’s strategic objectives and are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Reporting to the Vice‑President of Operations, the role combines strategic oversight, mentorship of junior project staff and active engagement with clients, regulators and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects, monitor performance, and manage inter‑project dependencies.
• Mentor junior Project Managers and Coordinators, providing coaching and career development.
• Lead complex contract negotiations, approve high‑value sub‑contracts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues that affect schedule, cost or quality.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, vendors, regulators and the public.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Civil Engineering preferred) or Construction Management degree.
• 10+ years of construction experience with proven program or portfolio management.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, P.Eng., GSC, PQS or CCM are an asset.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
