About the role
The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of designated clinical study projects, ensuring they meet quality, scope, cost, and timeline objectives. Acting as the primary client liaison, the role coordinates internal teams and external vendors to drive projects to successful completion.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact and escalation hub for clients.
- Coordinate all functional services and external vendors against established timelines and budgets.
- Manage study budgets, identify out‑of‑scope activities early, and ensure financial health of the project.
- Develop comprehensive project plans with proactive risk mitigation and monitoring metrics.
- Maintain eTMF inspection readiness and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed.
- Prepare and deliver status updates, KPI reports, and presentations to clients and senior management.
- Lead internal and client meetings, set expectations, and communicate protocol deviations.
- Support business development activities, including bid defense participation.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and extensive experience managing clinical study projects.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical and risk‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities for diverse audiences.
Required skills
- eTMF (electronic Trial Master File) management.
