Senior Project Manager – Clinical Research

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, global clinical research studies from initiation to closeout. Based in Canada with full remote flexibility, you will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project management of clinical studies, delivering on scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating communication across all study phases.
• Oversee cross‑functional teams and external partners, managing deliverables and proactively addressing risks and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory standards throughout execution.
• Maintain financial oversight, including project forecasting, budget control, and profitability tracking.
• Develop project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans to guarantee operational success.
• Prepare governance materials, client reports, and presentations, keeping study documentation inspection‑ready.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmacy or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Several years of experience managing multi‑site, global clinical studies within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environment.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP regulations, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven financial acumen in managing project budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, including client‑facing experience.
