Senior Manager, HR & People

About the role

Perennial is seeking a Senior Manager, HR & People to lead the full employee lifecycle for a fast‑growing, multi‑province clinical organization. Reporting to the COO, you will design and operate recruitment, onboarding, performance, compliance, retention and culture systems that enable clinicians and corporate staff to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end talent acquisition for clinical and corporate roles, building scalable hiring pipelines and reducing time‑to‑fill across Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Quebec.
• Design and deliver onboarding experiences that quickly bring on‑site clinicians up to speed, while coordinating credentialing, licensing and documentation.
• Ensure HR practices comply with provincial employment standards and healthcare privacy regulations.
• Develop and manage performance review, feedback and development processes for a distributed workforce.
• Create retention strategies and oversee compensation frameworks, benefits administration and HRIS operations.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution and off‑boarding with sound judgment.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, clinical leads and managers on people‑related decisions and cultural initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing HR for a multi‑province, clinically‑driven organization.
• Deep knowledge of employment standards and healthcare regulations in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Quebec.
• Proven ability to partner with clinical leadership and support both employees and independent contractors, including physicians.
• Track record of building HR systems that scale with rapid growth.
