Senior Manager, Category Leadership

About the role

The Senior Manager, Category Leadership will drive strategic category initiatives for Smucker Foods of Canada, leveraging data‑driven insights to shape shopper and category growth. Reporting to the Director, Customer and Category Strategy, this hybrid role combines leadership, analytics and partnership building to support the company’s long‑term vision.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee strategic category work ensuring alignment with category objectives and JMS ambition.
• Lead, coach and develop a cross‑functional team to maximize potential and drive continuous learning.
• Prioritize workload and resources to support key customers and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute Joint Business Plan materials.
• Generate and communicate shopper and category insights using multiple data sources.
• Identify efficiencies, optimize capabilities and challenge the status quo to enhance category stewardship.
• Maintain strong relationships with business partners and stay current with analytics advancements.
