Senior Information Security Compliance Analyst

About the role

Motorola Solutions, a global leader in mission-critical communications and analytics, is hiring a Senior Information Security Compliance Analyst. The security and compliance group implements and operates security compliance programs, and this role supports the organization's compliance with regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements, internal security policies and standards, and its information security posture against industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Help ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, CCPA/CPRA and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF and PCI DSS, and maintain security policies and standards
• Take part in risk assessments, remediate compliance gaps and track risk exceptions
• Support internal, external and third-party audits, prepare evidence and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions
• Work with Legal on contract updates needed for compliance and risk posture
• Keep the Risk Register updated and stay informed of regulatory and industry changes
• Contribute to threat modeling, post-security reviews, penetration testing coordination and the security strategy roadmap
• Maintain incident response, runbooks, incident management and business continuity/disaster recovery plans, and support security and compliance tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in information security, compliance or related roles
• Experience supporting compliance to regulatory requirements and frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 and PCI DSS
• Foundational understanding of risk assessment, control frameworks and compliance requirements
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISACA CSX Fundamentals, CISA, CISM or CISSP are preferred

Required skills

• Familiarity with compliance management tools and GRC platforms
• Proficiency in audit preparation and remediation plans
• Cloud security and third-party risk management
• Comfortable using AI tools to support compliance work
• Preferred: familiarity with EU and UK compliance regulations and frameworks

The target base salary range is $110,000 - $140,000 CAD. No travel or relocation is required.
