Security Program Manager – Physical Security & Vendor Risk

About the role

Global Excel Management is looking for a Security Program Manager to join its Security & Compliance team. The role ensures the company and its affiliates meet corporate security objectives and comply with applicable regulations and standards. It covers physical security, vendor risk management and employee security training.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain physical security policies and procedures
• Oversee access control systems, surveillance infrastructure and incident response protocols
• Run regular physical security audits and risk assessments across all sites
• Coordinate with facilities, HR and GTS teams on employee access and visitor protocols
• Lead investigations into physical security incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations or external threats affecting assets or operations
• Own the vendor security risk assessment process, including due diligence, annual reviews and offboarding, and evaluate vendor security documentation (SOC reports, ISO certifications)
• Work with Operations, Legal and GTS so vendor contracts include security clauses, and track remediation plans
• Run the annual Security Awareness & Training program and track completion rates

Required profile

• Post-secondary education in Security Management, Risk Management or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in physical security, vendor risk or related roles
• Certifications such as CPP, PSP or CRVPM are an asset
• Bilingualism (French/English) preferred
• Willingness to travel within Canada and abroad if needed

Required skills

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and research skills
• Ability to work independently, with flexibility and initiative

• Base salary of $77,000-$95,000 for Windsor, Ontario candidates; other locations negotiated by geographic differential
