About the role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner supports ACCIONA’s Canadian operations, providing hands‑on, high‑impact HR partnership across a fast‑paced environment. Reporting closely with the Talent Operations Director, the role blends strategic HR guidance with operational execution, ensuring day‑to‑day priorities and larger initiatives are delivered effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner, building strong relationships and delivering practical, solutions‑oriented guidance.
- Drive end‑to‑end execution of HR initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Partner closely with managers on day‑to‑day people matters, providing proactive support and coaching.
- Lead or support cross‑functional projects such as HR audits, employer certification programmes (e.g., Top Employer) and other strategic initiatives.
- Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, coordinating key HR processes and maintaining consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business needs.
- Balance multiple priorities while maintaining high responsiveness and attention to detail.
Required profile
- Adaptable and solutions‑oriented professional comfortable navigating both operational and complex HR matters.
- Strong judgment and a proactive mindset in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate with employees, managers, leadership and HR colleagues.
- Willingness to travel periodically to project sites across the GTA and occasionally across Canada.
