Senior Data Solutions Consultant

About the role

The Senior Data Solutions Consultant works with cross-functional teams to design, build and optimize scalable data solutions that support omnichannel marketing, analytics and AI-enabled products for life sciences clients. The role partners with analytics, engineering, project management and client stakeholders to turn complex datasets into reliable, production-ready data assets. It is a full-time position in Toronto, listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Build analytics products such as business intelligence dashboards, system integrations, data outputs, presentations and AI-enabled solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Tableau.
• Develop, maintain and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions, preferably in Snowflake, ensuring data quality, reliability, scalability and performance.
• Design and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL for analytics, reporting, AI solutions and client deliverables.
• Work with data analysts, project managers, business analysts and clients to gather technical requirements, define solution architecture and deliver measurable results.
• Standardize engineering practices through reusable code, Git version control, documentation, SOPs and scalable data engineering processes.

Required profile

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience building scalable data solutions and ETL pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Experience with clickstream datasets, enterprise data lakes and cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
• Experience gathering technical requirements from business stakeholders and turning them into production-ready solutions.
• Experience delivering business intelligence solutions with dashboards or reporting; desired: experience in healthcare, pharma or life sciences data and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Desired: comfort with AI in daily work, experience with Git workflows and documentation standards, and experience designing relational databases, dimensional models and data architecture.

The base salary range is CAD 90,000 - 105,000, depending on location, skills, education and experience.
