Senior Contracts and Legal Manager

About the role

This senior position sits at the core of a global commercial operations function, responsible for structuring, negotiating, and managing contracts that support sustainable business growth while controlling legal and commercial risk. The role operates in a fast‑moving international environment and is fully remote‑first.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review, drafting, and redlining of commercial contracts such as NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Negotiate contractual terms with clients, partners, and suppliers, balancing commercial objectives with legal safeguards.
• Provide senior‑level guidance on complex or high‑value agreements and advise on contract approvals and escalations.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation and effective use of internal contract management systems.
• Collaborate with legal operations and cross‑functional teams to improve templates, playbooks, and governance processes.
• Conduct peer reviews of contract redlines and support continuous quality improvement.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, partnerships, and enterprise deals.
• Evaluate and support adoption of tools and technologies, including AI‑enabled solutions, to enhance contract efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of contract management experience in commercial, legal, or procurement environments (or legal qualification with 3+ years in contracts work).
• Proven ability to independently manage end‑to‑end negotiations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional, and geographically dispersed teams.
