Senior Clerical (CL4) – Adjudicator, Child Care Advisor, Training Lead

About the role

The Manitoba Government is hiring several Senior Clerical (CL4) professionals to work in various departments across Winnipeg. Positions include Adjudicator (Department of Families), Child Care Subsidy Advisor and Training & Certification Team Lead (Department of Education & Early Childhood Learning). All roles are full‑time and support the province’s public service mission.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicator: Review income‑supplement applications, verify documentation, provide guidance, and represent decisions before the Social Services Appeal Board.
• Child Care Subsidy Advisor: Assess childcare subsidy eligibility, manage facility caseloads, and authorize payments in line with legislation.
• Training & Certification Team Lead: Verify certification eligibility for child‑care workers, process workforce‑development grants, and act as senior resource on complex policy matters.

Required profile

• Extensive clerical/administrative experience in an office setting.
• Ability to interpret policies, legislation and communicate decisions clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience supervising or leading teams, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Teams (or similar collaboration tools).
