Senior Associate II – Vision Care Field Sales (North Alberta)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate II to join its Vision Care Field Sales team in North Alberta. You will work directly with Eye Care Practitioners, presenting innovative eye‑care solutions and driving product adoption across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to identify and address the needs of Eye Care Practitioners and their patients.
• Grow sales by influencing prescribing habits toward Alcon’s innovative product lines.
• Provide product and technical guidance to doctors.
• Develop and execute a structured territory strategy using marketing data, account information and Salesforce.com insights.
• Plan daily calls, maintain a routing schedule, and respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours.
• Leverage analytical tools to generate business insights and customize the Alcon experience.
• Collaborate on regional conferences, conventions and continuing‑education events.
• Support regional sales initiatives and identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college diploma.
• 1–5 years of sales experience, preferably in health‑science or medical‑device environments.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong business acumen with proven analytical, organizational and negotiation abilities.
