Senior Analyst, Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

About the role

Saputo is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team in an existing 18-month contract. The analyst works hands-on with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing and Finance to run and improve Saputo Canada's IBP process, developing analyses, insights and scenario planning tools that align demand, supply and financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly IBP process by preparing reports, presentations and analyses for Demand Review, Supply Review and Integrated Financial Reconciliation.
• Manage Risk & Opportunity, RFP and Innovation trackers so they stay current for demand reviews.
• Review and refine category growth projections using market trends, new products and promotions.
• Act as single point of contact for mapping demand plans from category-customer level to manufacturing lines for supply and capacity planning.
• Reconcile opportunities with available capacity through customized scenario planning tools.
• Create executive presentations and support the annual budget planning cycle with sales, planning, finance and product management.
• Design, maintain and enhance data tools, reports, dashboards and automated reporting; track and analyze company KPIs.
• Support loss localization and root-cause analysis for missed supply chain KPI targets, and gather datasets across sources.
• Prepare what-if analysis, train new hires and co-op students, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Analytics or a similar quantitative degree.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in retail or CPG; 5+ years an asset.
• SCM or analytics certification, and experience in Sales & Operations Planning or IBP, are assets.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organization and time management, and ability to present insights clearly.

Required skills

• Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
