Senior Advisor – Legal Affairs

About the role

As a Senior Advisor in Legal Affairs, you will safeguard the organization’s legal interests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting its rights. You will act as the primary legal representative in complex matters and guide strategic initiatives across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage major legal projects, mandates and development activities at the company and group level.
• Advise internal stakeholders on positioning, planning, execution and follow‑up of strategic legal initiatives.
• Identify, analyse and propose solutions to significant legal issues and challenges.
• Interpret legislation, issue legal opinions, draft and validate regulations, policies, procedures, forms and agreements.
• Represent the organization before courts, develop case strategies, prepare witnesses and conduct pleadings or negotiate settlements.
• Develop and evolve policies, standards, models and programmes supporting the unit’s strategic projects.
• Act as subject‑matter expert and coach for decision‑making bodies and liaise with external authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant legal experience, with a track record of handling complex and contested matters.
• Fluent in French.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and strategic thinking abilities.
