Senior Accountant

About the role

Jule is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its fast‑growing Finance team. You will work closely with multiple departments, including Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales, to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the company’s rapid expansion in the battery energy storage and EV fast‑charging market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries using QuickBooks.
• Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) on a monthly basis and produce detailed inventory control reports.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and error‑free accounting reports.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform trial balances, and reconcile entries.
• Enter adjusting journal entries and handle intercompany transactions.
• Manage GST/HST, WSIB, and EHT reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who identifies process gaps and drives improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to summarize financial status through balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other reports.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of producing accurate, error‑free documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Experience in inventory valuation and COGS analysis.
• Knowledge of GST/HST, WSIB, and EHT reporting.
• Ability to prepare and present monthly financial statements.
