Senior Accountant, Assurance

About the role

D&H Group LLP is seeking a Senior Assurance Accountant to join its growing team in Vancouver. This permanent, hybrid position is ideal for a CPA or CFE candidate with public practice experience who enjoys direct client interaction, leading assurance engagements, and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assurance engagements from start to completion.
• Prepare and review financial statements and working papers in accordance with ASPE, ASNPO, and IFRS.
• Build strong client relationships and communicate accounting matters to managers and partners.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor CPA students and junior staff on‑site and at client locations.

Required profile

• CPA designation in good standing or actively pursuing CPA with recent CFE completion.
• Minimum 2 years of Canadian public practice experience in audit, review, and compilation.
• Strong knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and Canadian Auditing Standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language considered an asset.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
