Senior Accountant – $120k Salary

About the role
Polar Tech is seeking a senior‑level accountant to join its finance team in Kam Lake. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate financial statements and supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and analyze financial statements on a regular basis.
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accurate posting.
- Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Manage accounting for inventory and sales transactions.
- Utilise accounting software, primarily SAGE, to streamline workflows.
- Prepare advanced Excel reports to support business decisions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a senior accounting capacity.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
Required skills
- SAGE accounting software
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
