Seasonal Tractor Operator – Field Attendant

About the role

We are seeking energetic individuals to join our team as seasonal tractor operators at Berger’s Deer Lake field. You will work outdoors harvesting peat, operating a tractor and vacuum harvester, and contributing to a vital part of our horticultural production cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a tractor and vacuum harvester to harvest peat in field conditions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Adjust work schedules flexibly according to weather and production needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient field operations.

Required profile

• Driving experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Self‑starter, results‑oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player who can adapt to changing weather conditions.
