About the role
We are looking for a general labourer to join Hipple Farms Limited in Lincoln, Ontario, helping with the planting, cultivation, and harvest of a variety of crops on a seasonal basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops such as cherries, grapes, raspberries and tomatoes.
- Harvest crops and prepare them for market.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Examine product quality and determine market readiness.
Required profile
- Ability to work outdoors in wet, hot, cold or refrigerated conditions.
- Physically demanding work: handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours.
- Own transportation is required.
- No prior experience needed – training will be provided.
- Availability to work days and weekends.
